Did you catch the VMAs last night? Thankfully the music gods at MTV filled their YouTube channel with all the musical numbers. Here are some of our faves...
1. Jennifer Lopez
Before receiving the Michal Jackson Video Vanguard Award, this triple threat latin diva performed a medley of her hits including "On The Floor," "Love Don't Cost A Thing" and "Dinero".
2. Post Malone & Aerosmith ft. 21 Savage
This collab closed out the show with a smash! Post took home song of the year and impressed us with his "Rockstar" skills. Kudos to MTV for all the fancy camera work on this one!
3. Nicki Minaj
This QUEEN brought her A-game with a medley of tracks from her new album. This performance took place in NYC's futuristic Oculus mall where Nicki clearly reclaimed her throne.
4. Backstreet Boys
Ok technically, this performance was at the VMA Red Carpet Pre-Show BUT, they made us so proud! Also their first VMA performance was EXACTLY 20 years ago in L.A. where they sang "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)"....sooo it's a super special moment.
5. Ariana Grande
YUP, "God is a woman". The lavish Last Supper-inspired scene, 50 female dancers and Ariana's cool and centered vocals made this elaborate performance an inspiring one. Peep her adorable mom and grandma at the end, too!
